This list of hot appetizers is composed of our MOST POPULAR, MOST REQUESTED, TRIED AND TRUE FAVORITES. We always welcome new ideas and special requests with advance notice. Please feel free to ask if you don’t see what you are looking for. Customization is something we enjoy!   Please order a miminum of 30 each per hot appetizer.

Due to fluctuating markets, prices are occasionally subject to slight change…but don’t worry – your Planner will review all pricing with you!

Bite size individual servings, served in a chafing pan

  • Pastry crescents – mini bacon and cream cheese pastry crescents with apricot glaze, cracked pepper, and bacon – $2.59 each
  • Sloppy Joe Mini Biscuit Cups with Melted Cheddar Topping – $2.59 each
  • Deep-fried spring rolls with zesty orange dipping sauce – $2.99 each
  • Jackfruit Pulled Pork sliders – carolina style sliders with pineapple coleslaw garnish – $2.99 each
  • Beyond Meat sliders: mini  burger sliders (condiments can be on the burgers on separate) – $3.25 each
  • Stuffed pastry cups: traditional bbq style, served in mini pastry cups with blue cheese panko garnish – $2.25 each
  • Quiche: homemade mini muffin size (veggies and cheese) – $2.00 each
  • Mini tarts:  acaramelized sweet onion tartlet – $2.00 each

  • Mini Baked Brie: warm, creamy brie cheese smothered in candied walnuts and brown sugar, then wrapped in puff pastry  (1 pound) – $49.00 each
  • Large Baked Brie:   warm, creamy brie cheese smothered in candied walnuts and brown sugar, then wrapped in puff pastry  (2 pounds) – $79.00  each
  • Hot Dip: warm queso blanco seasoned with peppers, onions, jalapenos, tomatoes and cilantro. Served with tortilla chips – $2.99 per serving
  • Hot Dip: baked, creamy, cheesy spinach and artichoke dip served with your choice of tortilla chips, crackers, foccacia triangles, or toasted crostini – $2.99 per serving
  • Hot Dip: layered Mexican-style dip made with re-fried beans, black beans, sour cream, salsa, cheese, and chopped peppers & onions. Includes tortilla chips for dipping, jalapenos, and extra salsa – $2.99 per serving

Passed Appetizers:

please order a minimum of 30 per appetizer

Almost any appetizer can be passed! Your can choose bite-size portions arranged on a platter to be served and circulated amongst your mingling guests, OR each appitizer can be placed on individual mini plates, each garnished separately and passed to your guests, who take one each. Both options work well!  It’s good to know the logistics of your event to make the best decision – so just ask us for guidance if you’re not sure. Passed appetizers always help your food portions stretch further, last longer. It’s like portion control by our staff, in a less obvious manner.

Here are a few menu items that we always elect to pass to guests rather than place on a self-serve buffet:

  • Homemade Soup Shots:  two ounce mini cups of homemade soup (call to discuss flavor options) – $2.50 for most flavors – crab bisque and lobster bisque are $3.00 per serving
  • Southern Shrimp & Sausage topped with green onions and shredded cheddar – $2.59 per serving
  • Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes served with a mini blue cheese wafer, crumbled bacon and chive garnish – $2.50 per serving

Specialty Hot Appetizers:

The following hot hors d’oeuvres are best served immediately after being prepared. Due to the nature of the cooking process on these menu items, we suggest cooking them onsite, at your event and serving them immediately after cooking is completed. Should we prepare them here at Celebrations’ kitchen, the quality and freshness is depleted during the travel time to your location, often resulting in a less favorable, less crisp, end product.

  • Petite southwestern seasoned black bean cakes served with cucumber tzatziki sauce and chopped cilantro – $2.75 each
  • Mini veggie egg rolls, deep fried and served with zesty orange dipping sauce – $2.75 each
  • Breaded and fried sliced green tomatoes served with buttermilk dipping sauce – $2.99 per serving
  • Sweet potato french fries served with sweet horseradish sauce – $2.59 per serving
  • Curly golden potato fries, with skin on, dusted with sea salt and pepper, includes ketchup for dipping – $2.29 per serving
  • Cheese stuffed ravioli, breaded and deep fried, served with warm marinara dipping sauce -$2.29 each
  • Cheesy macaroni, baked, cubed then breaded and deep fried – $2.25 per serving
  • Vegetable samosas (Indian pastries) made with potatoes, peas and cauliflower, light curry and coriander. Served with both mango chutney and lemony cilantro dip –           $3.00 each
  • Tostones made from sliced green plantains, deep fried and served with a mojo garlic sauce or a ketchup dipping sauce – $2.29 per serving
  • Sweet battered corn nuggets, deep fried – $2.59 per serving (2 per serving)
  • Beer-battered onion rings, deep fried – $2.59 per serving (2 per serving)
